Founded in 2004, Phoenician Stone began with the extraction and processing of Syria’s rich natural stone. Today we operate quarries across Syria, including Palmyra, the Latakia mountains, and coastal regions, and run manufacturing facilities in the coast as well as inland Syria. Inspired by our Phoenician heritage—the first Mediterranean trading superpower—we honor centuries of craftsmanship and commerce. Combining Levantine resources with Western business practices, our Western sales operations ensure reliable service and global reach, even as our raw materials are responsibly sourced from Syria.
Phoenician Stone Group is a privately managed family business active in the extraction, processing, and trade of industrial minerals and natural stone. Operations are coordinated between production facilities and administrative offices in the western hemisphere. The company’s scope covers calcium carbonate, Silica, Kaolin, natural rock asphalt, and architectural stone, with additional interests in polymer additives and Masterbatch. Activities include raw-material sourcing, processing and manufacturing, mineral refinement, packaging, and international distribution.
